Crafting the bootstrap

These are shapeless crafting recipes. Inputs are counts per craft; output counts matter when budgeting plates and circuits. Empty equipment is not a filled oxygen or energy reserve. Namespaced IDs identify the exact item. No alien ore is required by this chain.

The Assembly Cradle, Hull Frame, Engine Module and Navigation Module recipes load only when their required components are available. If a recipe is missing, check the installed build and pack settings; the exact component checks are in the reference below.

Fuel and power are separate

The Refinery’s coal-and-redstone fuel recipe consumes one coal-tag item plus one redstone for four Fuel Pellets, taking 200 ticks and 4,000 FE. Each pellet adds 100 ship fuel units. The alternative precursor recipe produces six pellets from one Propellant Precursor in 200 ticks for 3,000 FE; it is a separate resource route.

Build and power the workshop, fill canisters, then follow Your first expedition. FE, oxygen, ship fuel, discovery data and research flags are different requirements.
