Jobs, missions and paid work
Read the terms before accepting work. Complete the objective, then return to claim your pay; finishing a task and collecting its reward are separate steps.

Take paid work at a Job Board
A job listing states its issuer, audience, reward, listing duration and work deadline. Check those terms, accept/apply where required, complete the objective, then claim payout separately. Listings stay visible while taken. Reward escrow is held in a dedicated account and should pay once; losing work does not erase held goods or money.
Defaults: posting fee 1, ordinary player reward 2–10,000, listing/work durations 1/24/72 civic hours, 8 unfinished posts per player, and 64 town-wide before development’s lower tier cap. A new worker has one active slot, a second after 5 paid jobs, a third after 15, bounded by the default maximum 3.
Choose the correct objective
| Kind | Completion | Important limit |
|---|---|---|
| Supply | Deliver matching item quantity | Default max 4,096; item identity matters |
| Courier | Deliver serialized sealed parcel to destination/recipient | Real cargo held by mod; default 27 stacks |
| Construction | Work in marked build zone and undergo review | Poster rights and permitted actions checked |
| Extraction | Remove agreed materials in zone | Removal tracked; permit depends on poster rights |
| Task/review | Submit written task for human acceptance | A description is not automatic proof |
| Hunt | Kill registered target in matching scope | Target and location restrictions apply |
| Escort | Accompany named player to marked destination | Arrival 8 blocks; together 16; separated beyond 32; 30 seconds separated fails |
| Mission | Finish 2–5 supported stages in order | At most one courier, task and escort stage |
| Bounty | First eligible killer defeats target under combat rules | No ordinary accept step; distinct from justice warrants |
Work zones default to 32,768 blocks, longest span 64 blocks. Use the issued tools for the relevant job, not a freely crafted parcel or marker. The catalog explains job-issued items.
Funding and audiences
Issuer tiers are Server, Nation, Town, Citizen and Outsider. Server templates are admin-created and use the public purse. Organization jobs use the appropriate treasury rules; player jobs use personal wallets. Location and posting authority are enforced at the service.
Audiences include anyone, residents, nation members, named towns or outsiders. Up to 10 places are supported by default. Copy mode supports supply/hunt/task; race mode supply/hunt; shared work supply/hunt/task/construction/extraction/escort. Do not assume every mode is available for every kind.
Failure, dispute and refund
Abandonment, agreed cancellation or a deadline can reopen work and recall its parcel. Expired/withdrawn listings move to the poster’s Expired page for reward reclaim or reposting at the relevant board. Review timeout defaults to 48 hours, after which work can enter dispute. Parties/admins can comment; an admin settles with a note.
The delivery vault normally holds 54 stacks, but refunds may exceed the nominal capacity. Check deliveries and custody after a canceled trade or job, rather than expecting contents to spill from a broken board.
Recurring public work and server templates
Treasury-funded supply/task/hunt shifts can recur every 1/24/72 civic hours, for 2–30 shifts. A shift waits when funds or listing space are unavailable. Development credit has extra requirements: audience Anyone, treasury funding, reward at least 20 × index, sufficient live time and a qualifying distinct kind; bounties do not qualify.
Server templates support supply/task/hunt/bounty and 0/1/24/72/168-hour periods with per-period, per-player and lifetime place limits. Taking one creates an individually funded instance. General job rewards can incur earnings tax.
