Sealing and serving drinks

Package finished glass servings with labels and wax, or stock a keg with matching unsealed drinks and pour into tankards.

Brewhaven 1.4.0Java 1.21.1NeoForge

Finished glass servings can be sealed for identification or deposited into a keg. These are separate handling routes: a keg refuses sealed servings. Craft both machines and their supplies from Workshop crafting.

Supply a finished, unsealed glass serving, one Blank Label and one Sealing Wax per serving. Tankards, unfinished drinks and spoiled brews are refused.

Sealing sets a canonical quality within the existing grade and records a seal day. Standard becomes 62, Fine 82 and Masterwork 95. It does not promote a grade. Do not treat a changed number as a brewing improvement.

Serving Keg

A keg holds at most 16 matching servings. Deposit one unsealed finished glass drink to add one stock and recover one glass bottle. Pouring consumes one Empty Copper Tankard and one stock; drinking returns that tankard.

The recipe, revision, grade, creator and distillation passes must match. The original batch number and measured process errors do not have to match. Sealed drinks and filled tankards cannot be deposited. A broken keg item preserves its stock when placed again.

Containers and stacking

Ordinary drink items stack to 16 only when component data matches. A serving’s glass bottle is separate from bottles used as recipe ingredients. The kettle has dedicated reagent remainder slots for water/milk buckets and honey bottles. Support items explains intermediates and container disposal.

Machines still follow access and automation rules. Shared permissions and stale-request checks are reported source behavior, not a fresh multiplayer test.
